There’s still a lot to find out about Zack Snyder‘s Superman flick, ‘Man of Steel,’ but it’s leaking out bit by bit, and now, according to the toys that Mattel France premiered recently to promote their ‘Man of Steel’ figures, we get to see what bad guy General Zod’s suit looks like.
This week Mattel France rolled out some of the toys it plans to unleash on the public in 2013, including action figures and vehicles that will tie in to Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan‘s Superman relaunch. We already know what Superman himself looks like thanks to a number of promotional materials, but Michael Shannon‘s Zod has remained largely shrouded in mystery. We got a glimpse of his face in a trailer last month, and some blurry set photos revealed that he’d be wearing a black body suit, but until today that’s all we had. Now, thanks to Mattel France, we know that he’s got his very own Kryptonian chest logo, and here’s what it looks like:
So, what do you think? It’s black, it’s form fitting, definitely not so shiny as the suit worn by Terrence Stamp in Superman II back in the 80s, which is fine by me.
